A Binding/Protection Spell candle. Deep red, embedded with Tigerseye stones, charmed with a Pentacle and Dragon charms and scented with cinnamon. Made with all natural soy wax.
The word "Durga" in Sanskrit means a fort, or a place that is difficult to overrun.
Another meaning of "Durga" is "Durgatinashini," which literally translates into "the one who eliminates sufferings." So, Hindus believe that goddess Durga protects her devotees from the evils of the world and at the same time removes their miseries.
It is 4" in diameter and 1.5" in height. It is all natural soy and essential oil.
Witches have used candles for centuries and they have a long and interesting history in religious worship, magic and folklore. They light the way to the sacred, they dispel the forces of darkness, are associated with ghosts and the dead, can find buried treasure, and they play a role in incubated dreaming.
As part of the preparation for casting a spell, rub the candle with anointing oil while concentrating on the purpose of the spell. The formula of the oil will be determined by the purpose of the spell. Or, write a spell on a candle and then burn it.
My soy candles have color all the way through. They are not white candles just dipped in color as I see in many discount stores. They are 100% Soy Wax.
I use EcoSoya wax in my candles.
EcoSoya waxes are made using soy beans exclusively from U.S. farmers. EcoSoya wax does not stain, is GMO Free and is Kosher Certified. Soy is a renewable resource and environmentally friendly.
The first time you burn your candle, you should burn it long enough so that the melt pool extends all the way to the edges of the container. This is called a memory burn and helps keep the candle from tunneling straight down to the bottom when you burn it in the future. All 100% soy wax candles have a slightly mottled look on top, this is just the nature of natural soy wax and is apart of the aesthetic.
